| Dear Bride and Groom,
The person who presides over this occasion should acknowledge his
assignment as a sacred trust. The officiant should do his utmost
to make the ceremony reflect the individuality and uniqueness of
each couple who stands before him. All too often, the words shared
fall into the category of "one size fits all," words that simply
lose the sentiment of being "uniquely you."
As a Captain and your wedding officiant, I am aware that there
are literally hundreds of vows, readings and blessings from which
to choose. I also recognize how valuable your time is. Planning
a wedding can be very stressful and time-consuming, therefore, I
have put together the distilled essence of what I consider the "best
of the best."
We will talk or meet just prior to your wedding to review last minute details and discuss those things that you may want to introduce during your ceremony. You may wish to have family or close friends perform a "reading" or say some "special words" about your courtship, or you may wish to pay a "tribute" to those loved ones that cannot be present. You may also wish to have me perform one or more of my beautiful wedding ceremony enhancements: the lovely "Unity Candle Ceremony," my very beautiful and moving "Sand Ceremony," the very touching "Rose Ceremony," and of course, for those couples with a child or children, the all important "Child's Ceremony" welcoming your child/children to your new family. (Please visit my "Wedding Memories" Link for more information). "
My purpose and that of the entire crew and cruise line or catering
staff of your land facility, is to help you plan your wedding so
that your ceremony as well as your reception will be unrivaled and
remembered by you and your guests for many years to come.
Remember this--as you spend time and energy in preparing your wedding,
keep in mind that the words spoken at your ceremony are, indeed,
the "main event." We will choose these words carefully
and this will truly be...
A Wedding Ceremony To Remember.
